WThis is a home-style version of a drink found on our latest drinks list. It's a party-sized prepared mix that is packed with the flavours of a holiday season, which makes it ideal for a holiday party. Save the extra citrus syrup for brunch beverages, sweets, or to make another batch of the drink.

Serves 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (makes 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
For the Citrus Syrup: Place the listed components in a saucepan, bring to a light boil, stirring so the sugar melts. Then, turn off the burner allowing it to cool completely. Decant to a sealable bottle, cap it and refrigerate it chilled, it will last for around one month.
To make Premix: Mix the specified liquid ingredients into one sizeable container, allow it to infuse for one hour, then strain , ideally through a fine cloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of the premix to a stirring glass filled with ice, gently stirring gently for a minute to cool it down. Filter into an chilled martini glass or similar, decorate with a few cranberries and complete it with a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
